About Shereen

I have extensive experience caring for children. I have been a camp counselor for a number of YMCA related programs such as outdoors camps, gymnastic camps, and swim lessons. I have also interned at an outdoors science camp caring for kids from ages 4-12 years of age. I love children and their curiosities that may lead to wandering. I am confident in my ability to redirect their attention in a kind and effective manner while, most importantly, still having fun. I am attentive and observant which is especially helpful when dealing with small kids that like to follow their senses in their environmental setting. I understand that every child is their own unique individual and I thoroughly enjoy learning about what keeps them content and calm.
