About Sherry

I am a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 6. One of my greatest joys has been volunteering with seniors in different capacities. I have volunteered as a pastor at a senior home. I went through training as a hospice volunteer. I volunteered for UNC Memorial Hospital's senior care unit. I am at a point now in life where I can work as a personal caregiver and I am grateful for the opportunity. I'd describe my personality as patient, empathetic and happy. I like caring for seniors because they have given so much of themselves over their lifetime and I enjoy listening to them talk about their experiences. I started caring for seniors when I was a young girl working in my mother's clothing business. Her business was making and selling clothing for large sized older women. In my spare time, I like to spend time in gardening, and exploring new places. One thing you should know about me is that I am honorable, trustworthy and genuinely care for people.
