My very first job as a kid was to help a senior lady across the street with a variety of household and yard tasks. It feels full circle to enjoy doing that type of work again. I can help clean the house. I can get down or store heavy objects. I can assist discarding items no longer wanted. I can lay mulch and mow the yard during busy times or when the lawn maintenance folks do not show up. I can also run errands. Essentially, I do the work that home health does not do. In addition, if your loved one is in assisted-living or similar, I can check in on them and also deliver those food items and supplies that they miss. My mom is in assisted-living currently; I do this for her each week. I serve as her power of attorney to pay bills, coordinate taxes, etc. Finally, I have a few clients that have had hip replacement surgery, back surgery, etc. I'm happy to assist those folks also.
