About Silvia

I hired Silvia over a year ago. I needed care for my wife who was suffering from a neurological illness similar to Parkinson’s but much more quickly advancing. Silvia and my wife became close friends, sharing life experiences. Silvia has children of her own but was able to work the long hours we needed her help. Silvia stayed with us when my wife entered home hospice care. The Hospice staff, Community Hospice, had the highest praise for Silvia. We depended on her for emotional and physical support. She cared for my wife until she passed. At that time I left town for 4 months and Silvia stayed to manage the house. In fact she removed all the clutter that had accumulated and redesigned each room so that I returned to a happy and refreshing environment. I was able to make a new start. I have great respect and admiration for Silvia. She is a wonderful soul and helped us weather a sad and painful time. Over the course of my wife’s illness we hired a number of caretakers from Care.com. Silvia was outstanding, compassionate, reliable, emotionally and physical strong, She brought a sense of wellbeing and happiness to our house. You will not find another caregiver like Silvia.
