About Simone

My name is Simóne. I am from Atlanta, Ga, specifically from the west and south sides of Atlanta. I got into nannying at 9 years old when I started a summer daycare service. I watched three children every day from ages 2-3 for 4 years. After I started my babysitting service, my family members would pay me to watch their kids. I've watched 11 children at one time at the age of 17. I like being in this industry because I get to impact young lives in a positive way. Being in this industry has taught me a lot about myself and others. I have developed my communication and teaching skills, and patience, while being in this industry. My last placement family taught me a better way of raising children, and living life, which is the positive reinforcement strategy. At first, I didn't agree with nor understand it, but, with time, I've come to love and appreciate it.
