About Sofia

I've 37 years of experience working with children, I believe it's a privilege and a joy. I've raised 2 boys of my own with special needs and worked with children with special needs. I love caring for infants and have much experience with them. Recently, I worked with 7 families, mostly caring for infants. I've experience, doing tasks like, light cleaning, dishes, and children's laundry. I also can drive children to activities like school or the park. I am great at teaching children. I can communicate in English decently but my primary language is Spanish. I have helped children learn Spanish and they often naturally pick up words as we spend more time together. I am also CPR certified because safety is my top priority. Recently I helped a family with 3 kids, ages 1, 2, and 5. I loved reading them stories, playing often and even aided with homework. On my days off I enjoy cooking, and going to the beach. I especially like exercising, walking on the beach and hiking are my favorite.
