About Sonya

I am the mother of six children that I was able to stay home with for 13+ years before returning to work with children. I have worked in the communities I have resided in by volunteering with various groups who work with children. Currently, I work as an aide in the public school system. I worked at a childcare learning center as the lead teacher for the 3-4-year-old room before being promoted to the Assistant Director (a position I held for 7+ years). Prior to that, I worked for a private preschool/academy. For two years, I was the lead teacher for 3's and K4 classes. The remaining time at the school, I was the school administrator for 60+ students. I love working with children and their families as they navigate life!
