I have been around children all my life. I am the oldest of the three. I was homeschooled and my mom ran a daycare business that I was able to help out in. I was in charge of the nursery at my church. The children were from newborn-2 years of age. I was responsible for feeding, changing, and anything else they needed for the 1-2 hours that they were with me. I was the aide for a group of 3rd grade girls at our church for 1 year and then transitioned into teaching the 1 1/2 hour class. I then worked with the 3-5-year-old class as an aide, for a class that was the same length. I transitioned into the teacher for the 4-5 year class. I am currently the 2 year old leader and have been for 6 years. I'm in charge of keeping an eye on the children, teaching them a lesson, doing an activity or two with them, feeding them a snack, and diaper changing/bathroom breaks for those who are potty training. I have been a substitute teacher since October 2004. I work in Pre-K through 3rd grade. I was an after care worker at a Christian school for 1 year. I was hired as a nanny for a 5 year old girl and a 6 year old boy. I fed them, helped with homework & other activities, helped with dressing, and some bathing.
