When asked, "are you a dog person or a cat person?" My answer is always: yes. As in, why do we have to choose? I would love to help keep your furry friends happy, active and socialized. Whether it's going for an active and smell-rich walk or just sitting quietly to bring comfort to a shy companion. What do I bring to caring for pets that others might not? In my graduate studies, I researched animal communication and animal-human connections through alternative communication styles. In short, I've studied how to best connect with pets through various ways of communication. It can take a lot to leave our animal friends in the care of essentially a stranger. I understand and will work with you and your pet to get you both comfortable. I have had both dogs and cats, including a very stubborn Bassett hound who was the dog version of myself, and am the go-to for friends and family when they need to leave their pets or ask someone to pop in.
