I spent a few summers working at various theatre camps around the valley as a camp counselor. I've worked for camps from places like Childsplay, Valley Youth Theatre, and The Phoenix Theatre Company. While there I gained a ton of experience working with children ages 4 all the way to 17. I would supervise the children during the pre-camp drop off and post-camp pick up. I would also make sure that the kids were engaged, enjoying their time during camp, and felt safe and comfortable at all times. I would help the teachers lead different activities with the kids ranging from fun theater games to DIY craft projects!
