About Susan

I'd describe my personality as caring, responsible and patient. I like caring for seniors because I truly enjoy their company, particularly love to listen to their stories and assist them with tasks, chores and errands. I started caring for seniors when my father needed care after he had surgery for a brain tumor. A few years later, I cared for a woman who had mild dementia and another woman who had cancer. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my 4 grandchildren. I am recently retired, so I am able to spend more time with them. I also restore/paint furniture and make jewelry. One thing you should know about me is I absolutely respect and enjoy elders. I believe we can learn so much from them. I understand their struggle with not being able to do the things they once could and I feel honored to assist with these things. My skills include light housekeeping and meal preparation, companionship and errands.
