About Susan

I have cared for seniors for over 20 years. At various times, both my parents had significant health problems which were addressed while keeping them at home. I was responsible to help with their care including doctors appointments, medications, meals, etc., and the maintenance of the house. Further, I am the mother of a young man born with cerebral palsy. He has endured many orthopedic surgeries followed by physical, occupational, speech, and water therapies. At 28 years old, even though he is wheel chair bound, he has recently completed college. I'm am skilled in hands on care, easily navigating the medical system (doctors/surgeons/hospitals, building schedules and keeping appointments), and providing emotional and physical support. Having an accessible van, I am able to provide transportation to appointments, social activities, and for shopping and running errands. I was also a teacher and an Exec. Assistant for 25 years. Skilled iPhone and computer user.
