If I could give Suttida ten stars, I would! She started with us 3 days a week when I picked up a contract job and watched my youngest son, who was 5 months at the time one on one and would also engage with and watch my 3 year old (who attended daycare/preschool) whenever she was home. She was with us full time from June 2023 through the end of June 2024. I cannot say enough great things about Suttida- she truly became a part of our family and both of our parents, siblings, and friends all got to know her and everyone always commented on how great she was with the kids. We love her calm nature, positive attitude, and ability to not get phased by the many phases of babies & toddlers moods, nuances, etc. She was always on time, was very communicative if there was a day she needed to take off and extremely professional and committed to the job. She really took care of everything having to do with our son, including washing and preparing his bottles, snacks, and lunch once on solids (we always gave her a run down of options available for the week) and folded his clothes and organized his dresser perfectly (something i try to keep up now but am not nearly as good at!) She and my son had a great routine every day and he felt safe and happy with her. They would take walks around the neighborhood, read books, sing and dance and they walked to the same park every day and essentially created a great group of friends for my son with the other nannies and the kids they watched. As the parents of this group of kids, we have all gotten to know the group of nannies and kids and it has been such a blessing. They did a little Halloween celebration for the kids, would celebrate birthdays and when it was hot, brought water toys and created a water day. Suttida really went above and beyond to make sure our son was engaged, learning through play, and she was able to meet his very active lifestyle of running all over the park. He is an advanced talker for his age and we have no doubt, Suttida’s attentiveness played a big role in this. It was so sweet to watch Suttida and my son and daughter over the almost 1.5 years of her being with our family. Both my kids would run to her every single morning and get so excited she was there. My daughter would want to get picked up early from school/daycare so that she could go home or meet Suttida at the park. It made me feel so much better that my son was happy to be with her and ready to explore when I was leaving for work. I NEVER had to worry he was taken care of. She would text me if anything was off and needed my input but she always took initiative and I always trusted her judgment. He was definitely better behaved with her than when I was home! Her contract with us ended only because my husband and I decided that I’m going to stay home with the kids for the next couple of years. Suttida just makes life so much better and easier- I really wish she could have just stayed with us and we could have tag teamed the kids! Unfortunately, my husband said I can’t stay home and have a nanny! Lol. We already miss her and keep in touch with her and are still adjusting to not having her in our daily lives. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.
