YMCA Teacher (before and after school): Primary job duties was to plan and implement daily activities for children ages 5 - 12 in our Latchkey programs. Helped assist kids with learning and developing the following skills sets: character development, health, wellness & fitness, literacy, science & technology, service learning & social competence, and conflict resolution. Assisted with homework time and tutoring. Also helped a vice principal with her children, twin infants and her 8-year-old son while living in California, I was a nanny for 2 out of the three years living there. I am able to provide references For the last 6 years I worked in childcare as a lead teacher and Assistant Director in Ohio. During that time I became a certified Birth + Postpartum Doula. I recently moved to Augusta, Georgia with my 2-year-old.

Syd began watching our son when he was about a year old- she has filled in when our full-time nanny goes on vacation and has also babysat for us numerous times. Syd is always CALM- she never seems to get stressed or bothered, even when watching two energetic toddler boys at the same time (we do a nanny-share.) She is always on time and always polite. My son loves her and asks for her every day. She is just great with kids- patient and loving and warm. I am heartbroken that she is moving out of our area. She is just lovely and any family that hires her should consider themselves lucky.
