About Sydney

Hi! I'm Sydney! I currently attend Wayne State University and I am doing my student teaching in a first grade classroom at Edison Elementary in Westland! My concentration is cognitive impairment and I will eventually be a special education teacher certified K-26. I absolutely adore children, I have all younger siblings and I think of myself as their second mother. I also nanny for the most wonderful, beautiful family in Northville (27-month-old and 6-year-old), but unfortunately due to my student teaching I had to cut back my hours with them (which breaks my heart!). I like to think I am a big kid myself, and I am always down to play outside, play with play-doh, color, whatever it is I just like to keep the kiddos entertained! Even better if you have pets! I was MVP of the swim team so you can definitely trust me around water-based activities, in fact, those are my favorite! I am goofy and personable and would LOVE to meet you and your family.
