About Sydney

Hi! My name is Sydney and I am 24 years old. I have been working in childcare since I was 14. I have 10 years paid experience of combined babysitting and nannying. In 2020, I graduated top of my class from the University of Central Florida with my undergraduate degree in psychology. I completed coursework in child development, child psychology, and education. I am skilled in multiple domestic areas, as well as problem solving and time management. I feel comfortable helping out around the house in a multitude of ways. I try hard as a nanny to limit screen time and instead engage in hands-on activities, playing right alongside them, like I'm a kid! I am passionate about mental health and helping kids navigate their complicated inner world. I feel that children may become what you believe they will become, so I start with the basic belief that every child I spend time around deserves my maximum efforts to feel seen and cared for.
