About Sylvia

I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. After becoming a mom of two, I was inspired to pursue a career in education & curriculum. I've worked as a TK & RSP teacher for the last 2 years while caring for my own children and I love it! I'm extremely patient, calm, creative, and empathetic. My goal is to help children reach their stages of development and create a fun learning environment in the home. I communicate with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise through written daily reports, regular text or phone call updates, or by following their preferred communication method. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing educational games that promote learning! I have a college degree, am CPR and First Aid certified, and have my own car. I'm excited about the opportunity to support families and provide a reliable childcare option for them. I look forward to getting to know your family and helping your child thrive!
