About Tami

Hi there! I'm married and have (2) kids of my own, my daughter is 11 and my son is 9. I started nannying my brother's twins from the time they were a few months old until just recently when they started preschool. I still take care of them from time to time as well as their neighbor's children age 1 and 3, but it's very sporadic. I'm the designated baby/child sitter in our subdivision... I always have someone either before school or after school or a few hours here or there. I love kids and I know how stressful it is for parents to find good daycare without feeling the guilt because they can't be there themselves. I understand the pressures of the working parent and feel proud to be able to take such good care of kids while parents are working. I have been taking care of kids on and off since my kids were toddlers, but I only started taking care of babies a couple years ago. To be honest, a part of me feels guilty when I watch kids... I never got on the floor and played play-dough and blocks with my own because I was so stressed about cleaning the house. But now I look forward to doing it. I don't mind cooking and light cleaning. I want to make life easier for the parent.
