About Tami

Hi! I'm Tami and I am a 49-year-old mother of 2 (16 and 11), with one being on the autism spectrum. I have alot of experience with kids and was a babysitter even as a teenager. I have had experiences working with other kids/adults with special needs as a job coach and support person so I have a tremendous amount of patience and can remain calm in any situation. I love kids and love reading to them and doing arts and crafts as I am also an amateur artist. I want your kids to look forward to the time we spend together and feel cared for and safe. I respect your rules and take them seriously. I'd describe my personality as fun, positive and adaptable I started working with kids when I was a pre teen with looking after my siblings. Later as a young adult on top of looking after kids I had my own volunteering gig at a local library where I'd read to kids and do an arts and crafts project that coincided with our story. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors and do arts and crafts.
