About Tara

Hi! I am 36 years old. I recently stepped away from my full-time career in public health to pursue part-time consulting, so have extra time available! I have an 18-month-old son, and have extensive experience in childcare. I have been babysitting since I was 13 (with kids of all ages, from infant to young high school age), have worked at several summer camps, taught in several elementary and middle schools while in the Peace Corps in Ecuador, worked with kids at the Center for Autism Research at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (both on the autism spectrum and neuro-typical) ages infant to 6, and worked as a part-time nanny during graduate school for a family with 4 children (starting when they were 3 months, and 3, 9 and 11 years). I have a very flexible schedule, and am available for babysitting jobs days/evenings/weekends. My son is in daycare himself, or would be home with my husband (he wouldn't come with me).
