About Tara

Hello there! I'm Tara, 23 years old, and I've spent the last year as an Art Teacher and Child Caretaker after-school program, as well as a nanny for two young children. In total I have over 4 years of experience in childcare. Through these roles, I've gained practical experience in child care and learned how to engage kids in activities that foster mental and physical growth, curiosity, and creativity. I place importance on being a positive influence, teaching good manners, respect, and a love for learning. I take extensive measures to provide a wholesome childhood for your children, involving outdoor fun, reading, and arts and crafts. I'm happy to assist with any household/domestic tasks. Safety is my top priority. I'm certified in baby and child first aid as well as CPR. I don't smoke, and I have my own vehicle. I am currently pursuing an early childhood education certificate, with plans to attain a degree in early childhood development within the next two years.
