About Tatiana

I offer support to preschool age children having trouble with letter recognition, phonemic awareness, and counting. I use Lively Letters (letter knowledge), Handwriting Without Tears (letter formation), and Heggerty (phonemic awareness) materials. I also offer support to elementary age children with mild to severe learning difficulties in reading, writing, spelling, and math. I use the Structured Literacy approach to teaching reading, spelling, and writing. I am trained in Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Foundations, Lively Letters, and Handwriting Without Tears. My approach to tutoring each child is to remain upbeat, kind, and motivational. In my spare time, I like to be with my family. I have four children in school and they keep me busy once they're home! We spend a chunk of time in hockey rinks and lacrosse fields.
