About Tessa

I have had a lot of varied experiences working and caring for individuals. I have experience as a full time babysitter for a 7 and 12-year-old. I babysat for these two girls during the summer, so I have a lot of experience with creating fun and engaging tasks and activities for us to do during the fun summer days! I also have worked with a lot of individuals in grades 5-9 in schools when studying education at the University of Vermont, so I am great with homework and tutoring help as well! In addition, I have worked with a number of people with disabilities in the college setting, as well as for Special Olympics Young Athletes based in Vermont. In the college setting, I was helping individuals navigate school resources, develop independence through growing social, economic, and academic skills, attending classes and tutoring, and more! As a Young Athletes coach for Special Olympics, I got to act as a facilitator to many children as they participated in fun activities!
