About Tessa

I am a recent graduate (May 2021) with a degree in Biology and a minor in psychology. I have about 2 years of combined childcare experience working with children aged 4 months to 12 years. My first learning experience working with children was helping to care for my nephew when he was born (he's now 9)! I enjoy creative projects and outdoor activities and try to create a positive environment for kids to be themselves. My most recent position gave me experience with teaching crawling/walking, solid food transitions, and other first-year milestones. I'm hoping to find a new full-time position in the Philadelphia area to start sometime in September when my current position ends. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time outside or with my cat, cooking, and making ceramics.
