I have 22 years of experience in a professional long-term care facility and three plus years of experience in the home care setting. I've taken care of a diverse group of people from fully functioning to completely dependent. I am a certified nursing assistant and have worked extensively with physical and occupational therapy along with dementia care. With all of this experience also comes knowledge of proper transfer techniques, activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, and proper hygiene), and experience with wheelchairs, and walking devices. I can also assist with medications, diabetic care, wound care, and splints/braces. Each individual has very specific needs and I will work with you to develop a detailed plan to bring the best quality of life to your loved one. Theresa is everything that you want in a care giver, bar none. Theresa has been my care giver for seven months so far and has taken excellent care of me with a spinal cord injury. Theresa has always been punctual, coming with a positive attitude that rubs off on me, and has always done anything asked of her. Because of my injuries, paralysis below my rib cage, Theresa has undertaken some rather unpleasant tasks. She has done so with absolutely no hesitation at all. At times when she was waiting for me, she found helpful things to do, she didn’t just stand around and do nothing. Her care was professional, caring, and complete. Theresa lacked nothing as my care giver and I would recommend her to anyone with no reservation
