About Tonya

I have a love for seniors. I have experience providing activities and support for those struggling with memory loss and loneliness. I am the Founder and Director of an international nonprofit that provides support to underprivileged women in Uganda. I am married with three grown daughters. My personality is calm, friendly, and passionate. I like caring for seniors because I feel like this is an under represented community. I'm looking for a job to provide companionship and activities for someone with memory loss, or loneliness. I started caring for seniors when I was in high school. I have volunteered in Assisted Living. I've been employed as an Activities Director in both Assisted living and Memory Care. In my spare time, I like to read, garden, and travel. One thing you should know about me is I care deeply for people and I dislike injustice. My skills include the ability to communicate, engage seniors in stimulating activities, and to provide companionship.
