I am a former Preschool and 3rd grade teacher with a bachelors degree in Biology and graduate licensure in Early Childhood Education, currently certified in Virginia (we moved to Delaware in 2021) as a Pre K-3rd grade teacher. I have 3 children of my own and as my 2 youngest are now in high school, I have the time, love and expertise to share with another family. Having taught for 2 counties in Virginia as both a 3rd grade and Head Start preschool teacher, I have a great deal of experience helping children reach their milestones in a fun, supportive environment. Personally, I am a non-religious, accepting person who celebrates families of all types. I would love to find a family who values compassion, joy and understands the value of learning through play. I adore animals (having several rescues of my own) and am a non-smoker with reliable transportation.
