I have been taking jobs on Care. com for almost 7 years. I have experience in ICU, home care and hospice, psychiatric care of adults and adolescents, and I have worked with a woman who is a quadriplegic and is total care. I have experience with a Hoyer lift, feeding and showering while on the commode. I cared for a couple, the woman had cancer and the husband has Parkinson's. The wife just passed away and the husband was moved to assisted living but they were able to live in their home for the two years that I came twice a week on Tues. and Thurs. Their children moved out of state and they were happy to have me come in to help out their parents and assess their health I have 35 years experience as an RN. I have a level II background check. The first 23 years was spent in the ICU including the Cardiothoracic ICU at University and the Cardiac ICU in Medical Center. I've spent the last 7 years caring for patients who needed help to stay in their homes.
