About Valerie

Hello! I am glad you are interested in my services. I am an undergraduate student at SUNY Old Westbury pursuing my degree in Adolescent Education: Mathematics. I have leadership experience in a working environment and I am confident that I can help your child pursue a successful grade in their current mathematics class. At the middle school level, mathematics can become quite stressful for the student because they are expected to learn a lot for the NYS Regent Exams. My goal is to make sure your child is motivated and confident towards mathematics, leaving their fear of testing behind. My schedule is flexible and I am able to meet anywhere in the Nassau County area. I prefer to meet at local libraries; (students are less distracted and are focused there)! I look forward to working with you and your child to build their confidence and getting them on a path for success in mathematics!
