About Valerie

Hello, I am Valerie, and I love babies and children! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Human Services from Binghamton University. I am a mother of four, as well as an experienced preschool teacher, childcare provider, and babysitter. I have worked in elementary classrooms as well as classrooms for special needs children, as a facilitator conducting child assault prevention programs in elementary school classrooms, in group homes for children and adolescents, and as a caregiver and companion for elderly and disabled adults. I specialize in helping mothers during the postpartum period, and in providing in-home care to newborns, preemies, and infants, so they can receive loving, one-on-one care in the comfort of their own home during this tender stage, giving mommy peace of mind while she transitions back to the work place. I am patient, nurturing, loving, gentle, playful, and compassionate, and I believe in treating all children as I would my very own.
