About Vanessa

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, kind, & outgoing! I like working with kids because I believe they are the biggest blessings. I'm looking for a job that I can help parents out when they need to take care of things or just need a break! I know it can be stressful to be a parent & I also believe parents deserve to have time for themselves. I'm here to support in any way I can! I started working with kids when I was 10 years old. I have 5 nieces & nephews who I've watched multiple times over the years. My oldest is 16 & youngest is 4 months. I also have been a school social worker for 4 years now & have experience with every grade level. In my spare time, I like to exercise, hike, travel, try coffee shops, & hangout with family & friends! One thing you should know about me is that I'm very passionate about making sure every child I come across feels seen, loved, accepted, capable & respected. My skills include patience, kindness, communication skills & safety.
