About Vanessa

I'd describe my personality as patient, respectful, and kindhearted. I like working with kids because it's so much fun! I love coming up with activities and games to help with their cognitive development. It's so rewarding seeing a child's face light up when they learn something new. I love that I get the chance to help shape little minds to be the best person they can be. I'm looking for a job that would be flexible by allowing me to bring my 10-month-old with me. I started working with kids back in 2018. I started out as an aid in a toddler classroom, then became infant/toddler teacher certified. Most of my experience has been with toddlers, but I do have experience caring for infants (I am a mother to an infant as well) and preschool aged children. In my spare time, I enjoy going on long walks and hikes. I love trying new foods and whipping up new recipes. I enjoy music and family get togethers and playing guitar. My skills include patient, empathetic, and organized.
