About Viergelie

Hello! I am a first-aid and CPR certified caregiver. I have worked as a certified nursing assistant in a variety of acute and sub-acute settings for over 26 years. In my past experiences I have collaborated with speech, occupational, and physical therapists to prepare clients and assist in ADLs. I was also a companion in the NYC area, knowledgeable with maintaining and assisting clients in their home. I do have experience, confidence, and passion in what I do for a living. I have experience working with clients diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer's, aphasia, diabetes and stroke related weakness. I understand how to incorporate therapeutic exercises in the daily routine. I've assisted patients with showering/bathing, clothing, carefully transferring from bed to bathroom or to chair, or feeding patients. I am able to collect vital signs. I will be able to assist in repositioning patients and provide companionship.
