About Violet

Hi! My name is Violet. I have over 10 years of experience working with children. I am currently a student in college and am about to graduate in May of 2024 with a degree in child psychology. I have teaching experience at both public and independent elementary and nursery schools, and have experience working as a nanny in Brooklyn and Seattle. I love to do art activities with children, go outside and explore, and actively work together to develop social-emotional learning and fine-motor skills. I meet each child where they are, nurture their curiosity and creativity, and encourage them to communicate their ideas. This speaks to the core of who I am as a caregiver. My experiences working with children have allowed me to form empathetic, warm, and trusting connections with them. Also, I love to cook, clean, and I know my way around New York City!
