I have 2 years of experience caring for my mother before she passed. I took her to appointments, did her grocery shopping, prepared meals, answered her correspondence (she couldn't see well), and took care of her laundry and other light cleaning. I was working full time and I was exhausted. My life was getting ready for work, going to check on her and get her settled, going to work, going home and caring for my family, and then driving her her house to care for her and spend the night... repeated daily. If I could have had someone to help me it would have been HUGE, so now that I'm retired I thought I would offer to help those who may find themselves in a situation similar to mine.
