About Whitney

Hi there! My name is Whitney and I am currently a medical student at Michigan State's College of Human Medicine. I attended the University of Michigan for undergrad and Johns Hopkins University for graduate school. I am not positive which pediatric subspecialty I am interested in yet, but I definitely know that I want to spend my life working with kids! In addition to babysitting and nannying, I have worked with children in many different aspects. I have taught both group and private swim lessons and coached youth swim team, which I loved! I have spent over a decade of summers volunteering at a camp for kids with cancer and even helped run the camp for a couple of years. I also have a lot of experience in tutoring children of all ages. I find great joy in helping others succeed and reach their goals and I hope I can do the same with your children! I am CPR and First Aid certified, as well as many other certifications, so I am especially great for medically complex children!
