About Wilson

Recently retired. I find helping people very gratifying. I have been married for 20 years and have two grown children that no longer need my constant supervision. I am bilingual and speak fluent Portuguese. I am reliable and friendly. I Worked 6 years at Caring Community where I took care of special needs clients. Some of my responsibilities were assisting with proper hygiene, feeding, day to day living skills such as cooking and cleaning, laundry. Transporting clients to and from their work programs and day trips. Distributed medication as prescribed. In December of 1999, I joined the Department of Corrections as a Corrections Officer for 20 years. I was able to communicate with inmates in a respectful manner. I am CPR certified. My last five years was spent in the command center monitoring the safety and security of the facility and facilitated daily scheduled activities. I prefer in home adult care. Assisting individuals with day to day activities and needs.
