I've babysat children from age 3 and up for a few years and I've worked as a youth mentor in my community for over 10 years for youth aged 11-19. During that time I've been a youth camp counselor, a self improvement teacher, and a big sister of sorts to my teens. I read about child psychology for fun, and my dream is to someday become a foster parent! I like working with kids because they offer the wondrous paradox that they are teaching us about life and our own blindspots while we teach and guide them: if we just learn to pay attention and be present with them.
