About Yuliza

Hello families! My biggest passion in life is helping children grow in all aspects of their lives! I have worked as a paraprofessional in a kindergarten classroom and in a special education classroom. In the kindergarten classroom I worked 1:1 with a student that needed additional assistance for a year. In the special education classroom, I worked with students that had emotional and behavioral disabilities. I learned how to effectively respond to difficult situations and how to use therapeutic approaches to reconnect with children in order to help them feel safe. In high school I also did a student teacher course where I went to a 3rd grade classroom helping students in small groups, classroom management, and assisting the teacher with grading, making copies, also working on projects. I enjoy outdoor activities, reading , and Disney movies! (: Thank you for your consideration!
