I'm currently a high school English teacher, looking to transition to more of a stay-at-home mom role. I'd like to be actively involved in my daughter's schooling, since she will be in school full-day. I have time on my hands and am capable of doing many tasks.

I have been providing childcare for almost 20 years now. I am a certified teacher with an endorsement in math and additional certification in MLPP for literacy. I have been training in Child Development and currently have 20 hours of Early Childhood training completed. I love playing with kids and reading to them. I do not allow the kids whom I babysit to watch TV unless the parent says they want their child to watch an educational show. We spend the time playing indoors and out, singing, playing, reading, learning, and being active. I have a BS in elementary education with the additional training in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. I opened a home daycare out of my house so if you need care between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. I can provide this care through my exceptional In-Home Childcare. My care is so much different than a typical daycare. We are located in a comfortable home setting. We eat meals together in my kitchen. The children have their own bed that nobody else uses. We have the educational benefits of a big institution daycare but the love and comfort of home care. We do circle time, music time, book time, craft time, play dough time, outdoor play. We are structured enough to provide constant learning activities while we are small enough to know each child in detail and we have the time to give them one on one instruction for their specific needs as well as time to love and snuggle everyone throughout the day. There is no replacement for in-home care. It is clearly the best especially when you have a highly qualified teacher leading the way. Also as a benefit of in-home care you don't have to worry about being charged outrageous fees for being past 6:00. We love our families and think of them more like an extension of our own family.
