About Abigail

Hello! My name is Abigail and I recently moved to California from New York! I am the eldest daughter, so growing up I gained lots of babysitting experience from watching my two younger sisters. Before I could start working, I began volunteering at my local library: reading to children and supervising the weekday play program. From there, when enrolled in high-school I began babysitting for my neighborhood afterschool and in early mornings. I graduated from SUNY College at Brockport with my degree in Recreation and Leisure, where I studied safe play, enrichment activities, and so much more. My minor was in Communications, so I also have experience with interpersonal communication, team building, and conflict management. After college I began working for numerous event companies, where I managed weddings for various venues, serving over 300 guests. Now as I begin my new life in California with my fiancée, I cannot wait to get started working!
