About Edda

Hi! My name is Edda. I am looking for a part-time babysitting job. I currently work in criminal justice reform, but miss having kids in my life! Before entering this new career, I was a 2nd grade teacher in Oakland, California. I hold a Bachelor's in Music in Opera Performance, a Masters in Criminal justice, and have a teaching credential in the state of California. I have been babysitting children from infants to pre-teens for over 15 years, and am comfortable with children of all ages. I am fluent in English, French, and Icelandic, and conversational in Italian. I absolutely love working with children, and have a real passion for working with young kids who are working on learning new reading and writing skills. I believe in learning through play, and understand the important role babysitters and nannies carry in the life of a child. With me, your child will play, do arts and crafts, sing, dance, and learn new skills! I look forward to meeting your family!
