About Amanda

Hi! I have been in some type of caregivng role for a little over 20 years now. I have worked as a babysitter, a camp counselor, a nanny, an intervention specialist, a mental health specialist, a behavior specialist, and a home health aide. I have my bachelor's degree in special education and master's degree in applied behavior analysis. Although my experience is primarily in working with children who have special needs, I have more recently expanded my professional repitoire, and branched into working with senior citizens, after having the privilege of taking care of my grandma with dementia, who I lost in 2022. I have now worked for multiple families as a senior home health aide and have loved every second! I would be happy to provide a resume if you feel we may be a good match for eachother.
