About Beth

I'd describe my personality as caring, organized, down-to-earth I like caring for seniors because I enjoy their personalities. I find their insights intriguing and enjoy getting to know their stories. I want their days to be engaging and for them to know they are valued and loved. I'm looking for a job that allows me to contribute to the quality and care of the elderly in a way that allows them to remain at home and maintain autonomy. I worked for a company called Home Instead for a year and took care of two couples during that time. Since October of 2023 I have been employed to care for an elderly woman a few days a week. In my spare time, I like to read, walk, do hot yoga, cook, spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I like to travel and will occasionally take a week off to join my husband on trips. This happens 3-4 times a year. My skills include listening and making conversation, tidying up or organizing, and cooking.
