Hello! I am very interested in this experience. I am currently majoring in psychology at Iowa state and on track to graduate with my BS in the spring of 2021. After that I will be entering Drake university for my doctorate in Occupational therapy. This is a position I am interested in to get some more experience caring for an elderly person to see what area of OT I would like to specialize in. I have previous experience caring for my 70-year-old great grandfather a few years ago before he passed away. I would come over and play mind games with him because I was the only one he liked enough to listen to about his health. This is one of the things that made me interested in possibly doing geriatric OT. I would love to talk about the position further with you!
