My babysitting strengths include: -Building awesome blanket forts -Dropping everything for a spontaneous dance party -Enjoying the outdoors (especially summer swimming!) -Encouraging creativity -Managing kids busy schedules, keeping things organized but fun! -Loving family pets (scared of snakes though!) On a more serious note, I have a reliable vehicle and personal and professional references. I have worked with children in a variety of settings; in recreation department programs, as an Americorps volunteer at a camp for troubled youth in Arkansas for 2 years before college, working at summer day camps (15 summers!), as the Director of a Teen Center and Skatepark, and as a babysitter for many families. I have experience working with children with special needs and challenging behaviors. Cooking and light-housekeeping are part of the package.
