About Cathy

Compassionate, caring, patient I like caring for seniors because, I like helping & caring for people. I feel it's important they're able to stay in their home to keep them comfortable, and help maintain their dignity. I'm looking for a job that allows me to provide care for others, while maintaining the scheduling I have. I started caring for seniors when I was 16, my mother was diabetic, and house bound. Therefore I gave her insulin & helped manage her diabetes by way of diet. I took her to doctor's appointments, helped bathe her, got groceries, and managed the house until she passed. Then I helped with my dad after she passed. In my spare time, I like to square dance & line dance. One thing you should know about me is that I help take care of my grandkids, one being autistic. My skills include, companionship, anticipating their needs, helping them actively enjoy life.
