About my experience: My name is Emily and I have a total of 7 years of childcare experience. I am also a certified K-12 art educator. I have worked as an educator on a non-profit farm camp that taught children ages 4-12 about where food comes from and feeding communities. I spent 2020 as a "Pod" preschool teacher in a forest school for 4 amazing kids, and just finished up my first year as an art teacher in an elementary school in Brooklyn. I believe in the importance of nature and art in kids lives, whether that be a hike or a walk in the park, or making fairy houses or paintings. I am truly looking forward to exploring new art project ideas with some special kids. About me: I love rock-climbing, hiking, baking, and making art! I enjoy exploring the cities restaurants, cafes, and museums. Citi biking is a new favorite activity of mine as I like to stay outside and active!
