About Emily

I graduated from college in 2018 with a degree in education. My classes included early childhood development, children's literature, and multiple teaching theory classes, among others. I have completed extensive student teaching hours in a second grade classroom, and am currently attending graduate school. My other previous experience includes summer work in a daycare, and at a summer surf camp for elementary school aged children. Throughout college, I nannied for two different families, both with babies at the time I started. It was a joy to watch them grow up and help them learn and grow over the years, and really become part of the family! Post-college, I completed a year of Americorps, where I worked in a food bank. I then went on to do volunteer management with the same organization, before moving into a customer experience role with another company, which I left when I began graduate school in 2021. I have a flexible schedule, and am looking forward to speaking with you!
