About Fatima

Hello! I'm originally from the Santa Barbara area, and after having gone away for college and living in SE Asia for a few years, I've settled Norwalk, CA. A little about me: I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2018 with a degree in Linguistics and a minor in Education. During my 4 years in Bay Area, I taught elementary, middle school, and high school STEAM, as well as reading literacy. After graduating, I moved to Thailand for a new adventure. I am certified in teaching English (TESOL credentialed) and have taught others how to teach. During my time in Thailand, I taught at a Finnish preschool that focused on learning through play and exploration. I've also taught in a homeschool and private school environment for 3rd through 6th grade students. My passion for working with children stems from the fact that I am an older sister! I've worked with a large range of students and over the years, have developed my own way of engaging with kids and I'm excited to care for yours!
